Job Description:
- Be responsible for the software quality of the system, and actively work to automate the test whenever required.
- Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures and executing tests on source code/builds.
- Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
- Working with cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC and Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate will be responsible for Manual, Functional and other types of Testing and reviewing requirements, creating, executing and documenting tests cases
- Implement, execute, support, and deliver accurate test results in a timely manner. Report and track bugs in Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with members of global teams involved in the projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify the root cause and coordinate with respective teams for fixing and re-testing.
- Assist in test case writing for automation suite and execution of automated test suite.
- Candidate should be willing to contribute to the automation development of testing projects. This will form approx. 15-25% of the overall profile.
- Flexible to learn new processes/technologies as per the team’s needs & expansion.
Qualification:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Solid software testing experience (minimum 3 years working in a software team preferably using an agile process like SCRUM).
- The focus is fully on desktop application automation and will be the main responsibility.
- Solid knowledge of C#, and .NET is a plus.
- Good knowledge and experience with QA methodologies and best practices.
